Tennesse Valley Neonatology

Previously known as Huntsville Neonatology, this practice was started in 1989 by Dr. Meyer Dworsky. Over the following three years., the acuity and number of babies cared for increased and in 1992 Dr. Thomas Davison joined the practice. The Neonatal Intensive Care Nursery at Huntsville Hospital continued to grow and in 2000, Crestwood Medical Center began delivering babies as well, and opened its Special Care Nursery. Tennessee Valley Neonatology added Dr. Zuzana Novak in 2001 and Dr. Lee Morris in 2006. We are a private practice group that specializes in neonatology, a sub-specialty of pediatrics that deals with sick babies.

Together with an experienced and dedicated team of hospital-based nursing staff, we are committed to providing the best possible medical care for premature and sick newborn infants across northern Alabama and surrounding areas of region. We will strive to render high quality, cost effective care in a friendly and developmentally appropriate environment.
