Financial Concerns

Tennessee Valley Neonatology is a private group practice that specializes in the care of newborn and premature infants. Even though all our care is provided in the hospital, we are not hospital employees and receive no payments from the hospital for our services. Thus the bill for neonatology services is separate from a bill you may receive from your obstetrician, pediatrician, or the hospital.
When your baby is admitted to the NICU, contact your insurance company or employer to make sure your child is added to your contract. We are providers for most insurance companies and will be glad to file any insurance you may have. If you do not have insurance, call our office to make arrangements. We will be glad to help you and answer any questions you might have.
