Pediatricians
Please choose a physician for your baby before the time of discharge and give the doctor’s name to your baby’s nurse as soon as possible. We encourage you to find a pediatrician or family physician who is comfortable caring for babies and one who will consult with a pediatrician when necessary. If you need help, we will be glad to guide you as you choose a physician practicing in your area. Before making a final decision, we recommend you make an appointment to “interview” a few pediatricians/family physicians. At discharge, we will personally contact the physician and inform her/him about your baby’s hospital course.
